The Effect:   A packet of six ESP cards is brought out, held together by a yellow rubber band.  The band is removed and placed on the spectators wrist or your own then all attention goes to the six cards, which are mixed facedown.    The spectator is forced the star card, and when it is revealed, the spectator is asked to remove the rubber band and it is a yellow star-shaped band! matching the chosen ESP Card

Another way to do it which I sometimes use:  have two normal playing cards held together by the rubber band, and give this to a spectator, telling them it is your prediction.  Force the ESP star card and when the spectator removes the rubber band and looks at the two cards to see the prediction, all they see is a sticker saying on one saying “look at the rubber band”.  They discover the band that they hold is a YELLOW STAR.
